Wesak Eve, Day & Art Exhibition 2018

On the 27th of May 2018, Rev. Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana opened an art exhibition organized by TRLG Puchong's Chinese Ink Art & Calligraphy Class. The art exhibition showcased the amazing works of the students, and paintings were also put up for sale to raise funds for the maintenance of the centre.

On the 28th of May 2018, over 700 - 1,000 Buddhists joined in Ti-Ratana Lumbini Garden Puchong's Annual Wesak Eve Procession, walking 8km around the Puchong Town Centre.

Buddhist Volunteers from Sunway College's Canadian International Matriculation Programme preparing the blessing strings. The Non-Buddhist volunteers assisted in cleaning up and working the floor of the art exhibition.

Wesak Day saw more devotees coming back to bathe the statue of Prince Siddhartha Gautama. It was an excellent event with over 500 people lining up from 9am to 3pm. The operating hours of Lumbini Garden on Wesak Eve and Wesak Day were extended to 8am - 11pm and 8am to 10pm respectively.
